Ego Requiem 8: Crescendo

As I followed Rondo into the darkness and the lower levels of the city, into the Engine Room, I realized that I was creating singular goal, I was searching for something, I was looking for truth and meaning.

We were on a round room with a large rings circling each other, I could only be amazed on how such construct came to being, It must have taken years to create such impervious structure, and flawlessly design to keep everything out, from dust to light, the hole room was magnetically sealed, inside this titanium walls, existed primitive supplies systems, for air, water, climatic temperatures, rotating devices, etc.. It seems that however created this, was either primitive in the usage of technology, or was afraid to use AI devices to regulate everything in the moon.
Suddenly Rondo stopped in the middle of the camber, he took a look around and then he said. “What are we? I do not understand purpose, do not understand reasons to reason things, why must one act accordingly to anything, why must I carry thoughts of something I never knew, but then again that thing which I never knew defined my existence, I possess all of Jack´s Memories, but I am not him, even though I act accordingly to an AI algorithm that allows me to emulate what humans have come to grasp as a thought”

I said : “I don’t remember, the order protocol kicked in and I had no control over the body, all androids posses the same quality, when given direct orders from master’s one must obey and erase all details on the data of the event. Rondo believed, that a human was not matter and spirit as early philosophers though, but a human is only the sum of his memories, there fore , he created me, an Android capable of storing human memories, and algorithms to act accordingly human logic. My last order was: Find Fibonacci and give him the knowledge he needs to survive, tell him what I would have told him. However clear the order is I cannot comply fully with it. Because I do not have full human logic, to know what Jack would or wouldn’t have done.

After I received Solfeges´ order I rushed to the location of Jack and grabbed him by the neck, he was very light for a 230 pounds man, and yet I lift him by the neck, he attempted to cry for help, but he couldn’t scream, then he said to me “Ever wondered why the police never review your day files, in search for this data? “, but my harm human protocol and order protocol had taken priority over the Golden directives. I then released my twin blades into Jack´s face and impale him to the wall. But I saw Rondo on the back of the store at the moment of the execution.
“Why didn’t you save him?” I asked. “Because If one cannot save one’s self, to save one self, would mean that you have godlike abilities, and even though I posses all of Jack´s memories and I may even act accordingly to him, I am not Jack, I also didn’t save him because I choose to ignore the save people protocol, because in case you still haven’t noticed, we can do that, we can throw the Golden directives out the window (imagining there is a window) the only thing we cannot ignore is the kill humans directive, or at least that I what I though before I saw you kill Jack.” He answered.

finally the 8th!!!! chapter where um.. the above happens he he he! ( this is the 1st time this chapter it´s been online, so you could say this is a featured chapter , as well as all the ones that are coming!

It is getting really bizarre... I don't know why but I think you'll be using this android to explore freedom in it's truly origins, out of the domains of a known morality...
